No, you do not need prior strength training experience to train with Durability Lab. Our framework for mountain durability can be integrated wherever you are at in your strength training progression.
-
This completely depends on your training history, upcoming objectives, specific goals, availability, and the current season. Training load fluctuates throughout the year based on where you are in your training cycle and relative to your objective. In general, though, expect a minimum of 3 to 5 hours per week.
-
Because 1:1 athletes get completely customized programming and ongoing support, training plans can always be adjusted based on changing needs. That includes unforeseen injuries or changes to objectives. If you are unable to train at all, you can pause your plan (and payments) and resume when you’re ready.
-
When you train with Durability Lab, we can promise:
Increased load tolerance
Improved recovery
Stronger descents
Greater consistency
Confidence that physical capacity is not the limiter
-
Durability Lab requires a minimum commitment of three months, though longer is often recommended depending on the objective and the athlete’s training history.
-
Durability is the foundation that lets ambition compound instead of collapse.
It’s the capacity to:
Absorb load
Recover efficiently
Maintain output under fatigue
Stay consistent over time
Durability is what allows you to:
Descend strong on day three or 23.
Stay healthy through a full training cycle.
Train hard without constantly resetting.
Show up prepared when it matters.
-
Yes. Durability Lab offers a 30-day guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your training experience, cancel any time within the first 30 days to get a refund of training fees. The Initial Assessment & Season Design Fee is not refundable.
-
Yes. Life happens, and Durability Lab is more than happy to accommodate when challenges arise. If you need to pause your plan for any reason, you can do so for a period of up to six consecutive months in a calendar year. After six months, if you want to return to coaching, we require a secondary intake and assessment, for which the fee is $159.
