About Durability Lab
Durability Lab was created to bring structure, progression, and long-term thinking to mountain training.
Common problems in mountain sports training include:
Too much volume without structure
An emphasis on aerobic capacity over everything
Over-integration of strength training
Too little integration of structural load tolerance
A complete lack of periodization
In the worst cases, mountain athletes don’t train with structure at all, instead adopting a “grit over progression” mindset.

Durability Lab was founded by Amanda Capritto, a strength and performance coach with a background in endurance sports
